Our Story
A recruitment agency that understands the road
HGV Nationwide Recruitment was founded to solve a specific problem: too many qualified HGV drivers struggling to find the right role, and too many fleet operators wasting time sifting through unsuitable candidates.
We come from the haulage and logistics industry ourselves, so we understand what employers actually need and what drivers genuinely want from their next move. That insight is built into everything we do, from how we screen candidates to how we brief employers before a single interview takes place.
Today, HGV Nationwide Recruitment places drivers across the full spectrum of categories and industries, from multi-drop distribution to specialist ADR tanker work. Our sister company, HGV Nationwide Training, means we also have a direct pipeline of newly qualified drivers, giving employers access to candidates other agencies simply can’t reach.

Register
Complete our short registration form with your licence details, experience, and location preferences.
We Review
A member of our team calls you within one working day to talk through your experience and what you’re looking for.
We Match
We match you to suitable vacancies from our employer network, with your consent before we share your details with anyone.
You Start
We handle the introduction, prep you before interview, and stay in touch until you’re settled in your new role.
For Employers:
Submit a Brief
Tell us what you need, licence category, location, hours, contract type, pay rate. The more detail, the faster we move.
We Source
We search our verified driver database and proactively contact suitable candidates on your behalf.
Shortlist
We present a shortlist of pre-screened, licence-verified candidates within an agreed timeframe.
Placement
You choose who to hire. We handle references, paperwork introductions, and follow up post-placement.
